Dairy Product Labels Highlight Protein Content

Protein continues to play a major role in the development of dairy and yogurt products, with 8 percent of global dairy launches and 12 percent of yogurt launches making “high in protein” or “source of protein” claims in the 12 months ending June 2015, according to Innova Market Insights.

This was well above the 4 percent of all food launches that made those claims during the same period.
